This is my first post on my blog. I have created this blog because a subject at university requires me to blog for assessment. However, I believe blogging is a great tool I can use to track my own learning, promote my competencies and understandings and share what I have learnt with other people on a similar journey. This semester I intend on blogging about the different technologies I work with and the capabilities of these.
Due to my prior experience in education (I work as a teacher) where possible I will attempt to view these technologies from and educational context. This semester I am studying asp.net, enterprise systems, web 2.0 applications and mobile devices. Prior to starting university I have worked with php, javascript, html and mysql to work on some of my own projects in the realm of education.
